First Priority Occupational Therapy is now an approved vendor for VDOE K-12 Learning Acceleration Grants!
Evaluations
Occupational and physical therapy evaluations allow for an in-depth assessment of the concerns you may have for your child's participation in everyday activities. Evaluations may include, but are not limited to, clinical observation, reflex integration testing, parent report, and sensory processing checklists. First Priority Occupational Therapy evaluations include a detailed write-up of findings and is discussed with the caregiver to create the best plan of care for your child.
$250 per evaluation with a written report and plan of care.
In-Home Therapy Services
In- home therapy sessions are one hour in length and include the occupational or physical therapist coming to your home to provide services. These are typically scheduled on a recurring, weekly basis. Children thrive best in their home environment, which allows the therapist to work with your child and family right where these skills take place! We value the importance of a collaborative approach with caregivers to promote carryover after our therapy sessions.
$100 per one-hour session. In-home services are typically scheduled for one hour, one time per week.
Virtual Therapy Services
Not in the Richmond area but looking for client- centered services to assist your child and family somewhere in Virginia? Virtual services may be for you! Virtual occupational and physical therapy services include more of a consultative environment with the occupational or physical therapist providing your child direct services, while also providing parent education for thorough and appropriate carry-over in person.
$90 per one-hour session.
Are you looking to collaborate with an occupational therapist and/or physical therapist to provide screens and therapy sessions on campus? Do you work for a private school and are looking for a whole classroom approach to incorporating socio-emotional skill development and self-regulation? Does your program offer after school opportunities for students to enroll? In-service presentations additionally can educate staff on the many roles and benefits of OT in an educational setting.
$100 per hour for individual sessions. School based services are typically scheduled for 30 minutes, two times per week or 45 minutes, one time per week.
